Grand Knights are being advised this week of a special Membership and Programs Incentive in Honor of Pope Francis. The incentive - for councils who are active in both membership recruitment and volunteer outreach during the months of April, May and June - is one of four all expense paid trips to Italy for the grand knight, membership director and/or program director, and their wives.

The attachments below will give you all the details. Please take every opportunity - including at the state conventions you will be attending - to promote this special incentive among the state, district and local leaders throughout the Order.

Many calls have been received regarding the availability of the membership video ads premiered at the State Deputies’ Meeting and the Supreme Convention.  Three of the four ads are available on the Knights of Columbus web site and can be easily downloaded to any laptop or PC.  The fourth video ad will be posted soon.  To access and download the videos, simply visit www.kofc.org/membershipads and follow the step-by-step instructions.

 Once downloaded, the videos can be shown by recruiters in a prospect’s home, as well as at Council Meetings, Open Houses, Church Drives and other recruiting opportunities.  Please encourage all your local, district and state leaders to take advantage of the opportunity to download these video ads and show them as often as possible.  These inspiring ads are sure to excite prospects and members alike about the opportunities of membership in the Knights of Columbus.

For those who would prefer to receive a DVD of the video ads, the attached form has been posted to the web site, and can be completed, printed and mailed or faxed to the Supreme Council Department of Fraternal Services.
