KNIGHTS and SPECIAL OLYMPICS

IN NEW INITIATIVE

Special Olympics New Hampshire and the New Hampshire Council of the Knights of Columbus have announced a new initiative between the groups to enhance the support already provided by the Knights to the Special Olympics New Hampshire (SONH). This initiative is part of a national, four year partnership agreement between Special Olympics North America and the Knights of Columbus.

The Knights of Columbus have supported Special Olympics in the state with volunteer and financial assistance since the first Summer Games were held in New Hampshire in 1970. Support has been provided locally and on a state wide basis.

The new initiative will include increased communication between the Knights and SONH about volunteer, leadership and fundraising opportunities that individual Knights, groups of Knights or Local Councils may choose to be involved with.
